What's so bad about the movie, and what is this even for?
Everything, the movie sucks the only "good" thing about it is the song at the end, THATS IT. This site will outline everything bad wrong and ABSOLUTLEY horrendously awful about the ni no kuni movie, and how they could have made it (MUCH) better. We will also go over plot holes, and inconsistencies within it!
Why did we decide to do this?
We decided to re-write the plot of the Ni No Kuni movie because we both found that it did not fit into the canon, and lacks a lot of key features of the games. The movie adds a lot of details that are unnecessary to the plot, then leaves out things that would be helpful to connect it to the games and make a coherent story. In the movie Oliver is still alive however this does not make sense because we know that the time frame of the movie takes place in the 21st century, and most likely 2010-2050. With this information it is unlikely for Oliver to be still alive, this bit of knowledge, along with many other inaccuracies made us want to fix the plot. Ni no kuni is a great game series and the movie simply does not do it justice, it merely confuses, and adds inconsistencies to the franchise as a whole.
